What is Invest Wollongong?
Established in 2008, Invest Wollongong is a unique, long-standing strategic partnership between Wollongong City Council, NSW Government and the University of Wollongong. Our collective goal is to increase business investment and job creation by showcasing Wollongong's capabilities and empowering decision makers. We do this through shared promotion, coordinated investor engagement, and a unified narrative to position Wollongong as a premier business destination for key target sectors.
Since 2008, this collaborative partnership has facilitated 105 business attraction and expansion projects, and brought over 3,000 new jobs to the region.
What we do

Showcase Wollongong’s capabilities as a superior business location to key decision-makers across Australia and globally through events and marketing.
Facilitate
Connecting you with relevant industry networks, local agents and training & education opportunities. Facilitate bespoke site visits and meetings with key stakeholders, as well as assist with decision support.
